Start early and you can do it properly and enjoy it, rather than panicking with a sponge at midnight.
The deep clean and detail
Show preparation goes far beyond a normal wash. It means a thorough clean of every surface, including the parts nobody usually sees — the engine bay, the underside of the bonnet, the door shuttles, the wheel arches. Paintwork is washed carefully, decontaminated and polished to a deep shine. Chrome is brought up bright. Glass is cleaned inside and out with no streaks.
